The exhibition is topped off with a DVD Documentary produced and directed by Team Buller head coach Peter McNiel, who used 20 years of incredible ABOM footage to tell the compelling story of the ABOM mogul challenge. The DVD also features Team Buller Managers past and present including Geoff Lipshut, Michael Kennedy and Andrew Pattison, with additional comments from Olympian Adrian Costa, 20 year event veteran Michael Hughes, NSW institute of Sport head coach Peter Topalovic, 2005-2008 chief of course Nicole Lewis and World Cup judge Zoe Jaboor. To celebrate the 21st year of the ABOM mogul Challenge, Team Buller have collaborated with superstar photographer and former Team Buller Member Mark Ashkanasy and the Mt Buller museum to commorate this event with a season long exhibition at the National Alpine Museum , level 1 of the Mt Buller community centre (formerly Latrobe university).
The exhibition features two decades of the events posters and photographic images of key moments and individuals that have played important roles in the events history. Team Buller uniforms, ABOM trophies and Nick Cleaver’s 1994 Lillehammer Olympic skis are on display. Course Builders, Nicole Lewis and Ant Bateup,
with 2008 Head Judge, Zoe Jaboor, in front of the past Posters display. |
